Tranquility Balance
Everyone is affected by chaos, it is just a matter of to what degree, but fortunately, now there is help available. Sensory Interior Design, owned and operated by Carolyn Feder of Dallas, Texas, is in the business of transforming homes, offices and schoolrooms.
Overloaded places with too many sensory stimulants become havens where the mind and body can rest and occupants can function at their optimal potential.
Carolyn Feder is registered with the Texas Board of Architectural Examiners and the Texas Association of Interior Design. It may seem surprising that an interior design firm can be instrumental in assisting with anxiety and other disorders, but for this company it couldn’t be more perfect.
With years of experience in the design industry and many clients, Carolyn has gained unique insight on how everyday elements affect us and about the fear of change. Her ‘one-of-a-kind’ methods are affordable, therapeutically valuable and of course, aesthetically pleasing to the eye. If you or someone you know suffers from anxiety or lives with ADD/ADHD, sensory processing disorder, various degrees of autism, this approach is ideal. If you feel overwhelmed and unable to adjust to any environment, you will benefit immediately by contacting Sensory Interior Design and watch your life improve!

A Letter to Autism Movement Therapy:
Joanne – Where do I begin?…I have hit the ground running since the AMT workshop last week! THANK YOU! So many ideas and great energy that weekend! It was a true blessing, although brief, to meet and work with you and all of the ladies.
It was an extremely emotional weekend for me too. Everyday I work in an environment where I feel the never ending struggle of swimming upstream. I appreciate Cris for teaching me patience and for being the reason I walk into that school everyday in a good mood with my head held high. Yes, the infection of ignorance, foul politics, and wastefulness of money and lack of support still exists. But, thanks to your workshop, I feel confident and enlightened. I am now optimistic about the change that can occur within our schools. For starters, it helped me confirm the things I have done correctly and improve or change what ever will help me work with Cris and others with special needs more effectively. I have recently shared some of the information I learned at your workshop with a few coworkers and already I see improvements with communication between staff and students. My coworkers are using more positive words and praise towards our students. Great step forward!I’ve had enough of irrelevant meetings…complaining…pointing fingers. Time for solutions…learning…growing…AMT! (OK, I’m done venting now, LOL)
As for swimming up stream, well I’m not tired! Bring it on, baby ’cause now that I’m with AMT I’m goin’ out dancin’! And so will my students! I look forward to teaching anyone along the way (near, far, in, out or around our school district) that we can do MUCH better helping others grow. Thank you for the time and energy you have sacrificed to develop this program. It’s amazing and necessary! You rock Joanne!
You were so generous in granting a scholarship. Please keep me in mind if I may be of service to any of your events. I would be honored.
For ever gratefully and sincerely yours,
Betty - Elizabeth De La Torre,
